Development of this large site bisected by two “blue line streams,” required extensive negotiation with many federal, state and local environmental and planning agencies to obtain permits for dredge & fill, stream alteration, tree removal, building on a historic site, elimination and mitigation of species habitat for the giant garter snake, swainson’s hawk, burrowing owl, kit fox, and other endangered and threatened species. Drafted related sections of EIR documents and negotiuated with state air quality agency over permitting and development fee issues.
